The discord is still very much alive, especially with the new update. You might've gotten kicked by the bot, I don't know when/if it does that.

Tsunamayo's a one-man development machine right now, but he has discussed the possibility of hiring an artist in the future. Up to him to ask about it though.

However, modding is going to definitely be a thing, and modeling / texturing assets for mods will probably be in demand!
