New Sequencer Controller Terminology

Hey, Not at all a priority, but I recommend swapping the Superior/Inferior terminology with the sequencer controller to something more layman. Superior/Inferior are the correct terms , but the vast majority of folks playing the game wont understand that immediately, making it less intuitive. Above/B...

General Freeform 'Magic' Block Discussions

For the two of you who haven't caught it, Tsuna put out a surprise video to showcase a new, magical block that was added. Aside from the obvious benefit of being free-form, with any likelihood, it's a solution to the poor scalability of the [potentially] endless block shapes across endless textures....

Re: Energy System and Management

I don't like all these complex systems. My idea is always, KIS, Keep It Simple. I'd support that, but as logic is pulse based and every pulse activates (there is no way to deactivate or to lock from activation), there is no possible way to lock doors or to make something like a safety switch on wea...

Re: Energy Fuel

I have no preference in what the fuels are, or how they're gathered/made, you'll likely get a lot of good ideas from others here as well. My only request would be that you consider the tiers and system from an end-game perspective. Similar to what I cautioned in the energy system thread, end-game pl...

Re: Energy System and Management

You guys will ask for linking and such, but I was not going for that. The main reason is that I wanted to have the energy balance logic at the level of the ship, for simplification purpose. I want something simple, I dont see much added value in term of possibility by having to link systems, and it...

Re: Dual Wield: your take on it!

Are you implying RMB would go from 'Delete Block' to 'Whatever Tool Function You Have Equipped in Your Second Hand'? If so, I think for most kids here — since all they know is a combat-less sandbox mode — all they want is something that's quick and easy. Everything else is secondary. From a survival...

Re: Transparency, and Other Paint Options

I've mentioned it before, but I really think we need to be careful and conservative with transparencies. From a PVP perspective transparencies are an advantage, even if they're just a stylization flexibility in sandbox mode. To make an entirely transparent ship, or to have a ship with a bunch of tra...

Re: Official Build Mode Suggestion Thread

Not to complain, but I'm still having a difficult time getting the preview to the right plane in cramped spaces. Essentially sometimes I need the plane to be facing my direction, like the 'placed side' should face me, but I can't do it without maneuvering around to the side of the block, which I can...

Re: Official Build Mode Suggestion Thread

The new visuals are a massive improvement over the 'L', thanks very much. It's far easier to conceptualize how the block is being placed. I still find the 'hold-right-rotate-wheel' a little unusual, but I feel like I might get used to it. Hopefully we can rebind all the keys down the road anyway, so...

Re: Block placement and rotation

I'm very much in support of a new way of changing placement orientation (and your example looks good), as the current scaffolding method can be confusing and a little cumbersome. Some blocks require a certain axial placement to place at a certain angle, and new players don't understand that they may...
